How to Bulk-Delete Your Gmail Inbox - Best Guidelines

Gmail includes a pretty huge 15GB limit, but over the years, mail tends to build up, and several of us are likely reaching those limits now.

There are numerous ways to delete Gmail items, but heres one tutorial that will require minimal effort and you can do at your own pace.

1. Open your online browser, head to Gmail, and Login for your Gmail account.

2. Next, click in the Gmail search engine. Key in:inbox is:read (without quotes) Then, go through the blue Search Mail button. You will now see a several most recent emails you've got actually read.

3. Discover the checkbox button for choosing messages at the very top left with the results. Click it. A decrease box can look which includes the options, "Select: All, None, Read, Unread, Starred, Un-starred". Select "All" to select every one of the emails that match your search. 4. Check the page towards the top of their email list that says, "Select all conversations that match this search." This will make sure you've got selected perhaps the messages that do not fit around the first page of results.

5. Click the "Archive" button towards the top of the e-mail area. Now all your read emails are already saved to your archive, where they may be searched but where they won't clutter increase inbox.

Just make sure you really want to permanently delete all that mail. Unless youre approaching your storage limit, the smarter move is always to archive it instead. This way itll still be available whenever your run searches, but wont clutter increase inbox.
